Healthy Holiday Meals


During the Holiday season some of us gain additional weight that accumulate over the years causing us to be overweight or obese.  This post contains a list of  recommendations to include more fruits and veggies into your meals as well as free resources to track food, weight and exercise, a  Nutritional guide for healthy holiday cooking and a  Healthy Recipe Book.
  • Eat fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables and keep frozen packages of non-seasonal produce.
  • Find creative ways to include fruits and vegetables in all your meals and for snacks
  • Use fresh herbs in salads and to season your food
  • Vegetables can be cooked in multiple ways, trying new ways to cook vegetables will give you different flavor and texture for the same vegetable.
  • Mix different colors to make food appealing and venture to try new foods
